The Old Tolland County Courthouse located at 53 Tolland Green provides a glimpse into a working courtroom, with an exhibit located in the rear of the building. Another nearby attraction is the Daniel Benton Homestead on Metcalf Road. It contains furniture from the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. The Hicks-Stearns Family Museum is an independent museum that depicts family life, as it was in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
